Introducing the First Online DXF to CNC File Translator

View this sample DXF file and use it for your first upload test.

Here is how "DXF2CNC Online" works:

This online service allows you to upload an Ordered Entity DXF file and have it translated into a Deckel Dialog 4 CNC machine control file. The Ordered Entity DXF file is an ASCII format geometry file created by a very few CAD programs that support the output of selected drawing entities to a Drawing eXchange Format file and maintains the order in which each entity is selected. AutoCAD10 is the only AutoDesk product known to support it. The Ordered Entity DXF output differs from a full DXF output by allowing the user defines the critical order for the machine tool path and limits the output to just those entities. Do not select all the entities from a two point rectangular window because the entity order will not be controlled.

For best results, select the Ordered Entities in clockwise order where the end of each entity is the beginning of the next adjacent entity. Any entity that starts or ends on an exclusive point will invoke the TOOL-ON or TOOL-OFF statement respectively. And finally, any point-to-point data will invoke a GOTO statement with a nested function that depends on the subsequent geometric elements.
